I hope to get back on the art train (and the fiction/rp/everything else I like to do in my spare time) soon as school's ending and I am not doing the musical this year, thank God! Everything is all set for prom and I found my graduation dress. My birthday has come and passed (18!!), my grandfathers surgery went well, and I somehow managed not to be shipped out of my damn school in a box after 12 years of attendance. I got into my top choice college in December and I got to see my camp friends that same month. Life, I suppose, is fairly good in the whole scheme of things.
My last day of classes is the 28th of April and after that I will be on my Senior Work Project (aka a non paid work experience 35-40hr a week job experience thing) for the month of May. I chose to work with an artist who my mother knows who works in a building with 20 other artist studios (and a photographer, blogger/book writer/radio gal, and a playwright.)She is into oils and pastels, something I have never dabbled in myself since Middle School art class. Some of the other artists in the building work with other mediums and I might get to work with them, but I'll mostly be apprenticing with her. Hopefully I might get to post some of what I do here!
Until then, here's to you comrades

An artist is never uninspired. They're just too lazy to buckle down and draw.--Artoveli (I think)
